Many state parks and beaches have developed around Lake Tahoe. Some of them may charge ($2-$15) for entrance during the summer season.

There is a hundred mile long mountain bike trail. If you want to enjoy the thrill you will have to give away $40 to get the pass. If you want you can spend the whole day on the track with your family. You can also go fishing time with your kids. You can buy a 3-day fishing license for just $30.
